At any given event, records show that approximately 10% of patrons require some form of medical care, while approximately 2% require immediate emergency care.
These figures highlight the crucial importance of having a comprehensive support system in place to cater to the diverse needs of event patrons.
Detecting an imminent
drug overdose.
Wellwatch may detect a potential medical emergency.
Using pre-determined medical parameters, the solution can detect the patrons vitals, compare them with their normal parameters and notify the control room of a potential medical emergency due to drug overdose.
The control room will be notified, and the nearest paramedic will be automatically dispatched to the exact location of the patron needing help.
Preventing a
sexual assault.
The solution has been designed to keep patrons safe and provide support where and when needed.
If help is needed, the press for assistance button can be activated discreetly. A chat window can be opened up for communications where the patron can identify a sexual assault. Exact location details using W3W is provided to the control room, and a paramedic / security member is dispatched to assist the patron. Security will attend only if patron advises it is a sexual assault.
The patron is provided information on where the paramedic is using location tracking.
Providing patrons with a discreet way to seek help.
The Wellwatch festival App includes a discreet call for assistance button.

In the case of an emergency or where assistance is required, the patron can discreetly press the assistance button, the control room is notified, their exact location details are provided and a paramedic is dispatched to the patron wherever they are located within the geo-fenced zone.
Expanding your medical response team.
The Wellwatch Assist App allows the event staff or volunteers to call for assistance if there is a situation that may require medical attention. It can be used by any non-medical staff to support the medical response, including harm minimisation crews, volunteers, security or other event staff.
The app is easy to use and provides the user with a simple triage tool. It provides the user with a status update of the HELP request, including that the control room has received the message, a medic has been allocated, how far away they are and when they have arrived.
